This Project Manager opportunity is available on our Chicago team in either the Romeoville or Deerfield office. Responsibilities Responsibilities include all aspects of client relationship development and project execution including proposal development and presentation, management of project resources, project budgets and forecasting, schedule management, project engineering, integration, installation, start-up and project closure. Maintaining and growing solid client relationships is a key responsibility. Requires outstanding engineering and project skills including machinery applications, computer skills, and excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Successful Design Group Project Managers have leadership skills and experience with a drive to grow and expand local and regional clients. Requirements Minimum B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical degree. Minimum 10 years of project engineering management experience with packaging, automation, or manufacturing applications.  Special consideration given to candidates with experience in the food, beverage, dairy & brewery industries. Candidates with high speed beverage application and system integration experience (emphasis in safety systems) is preferred. Contractor management skills are also a plus. Excellent organizational and communication skills - verbally and written Experience developing all required project documentation. Travel Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements to include but not be limited to: project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, or conventions, etc. . The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
