Position Summary:

Route/Activity ? American Icon is opening Dairy Operations in Fort Wayne, IN! No Touch. Drivers will deliver with customer performing live un-loads. On average deliver within a range of 150 miles per day. Local routes. No touch freight, Chicago Metropolitan area.
Shift ? route start/end times will vary with the ability to work weekends as needed. Drivers will have 2 consecutive days off.
Equipment ? 48? Reefer Trailers
Compensation ? Average of $1,200-$1,400 per week - $0.45 per mile, $18.00/hr. per stop and $18.00/hr. for delays over 2 hours. Daily guarantee of $230.00

Responsibilities:
-Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment.
-Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
-Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route.
-Primary interface with the customer at point of delivery.
Qualifications:
Job Qualifications:
-At least 23 years of age
-CDL Class A license required
-1 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 3 years
-3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations/accidents
-Reliable and customer oriented
-Safety oriented
-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
-The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
