Flexographic Press Operator 2nd Shift
Hours: 2:55 pm to 12:55 am; Monday through Thursday
2nd shift and start rate is $15/hr plus $.50/hr shift diff. Based on performance, we review for $.50/hr increase after 3 mos; another $.50 after 6 mos and a final $.25 after 9 mos.
Incumbent will be responsible for performing complex printing jobs on a flexographic printing press to produce high quality documents in a safe manner.
Responsibilities will include make-ready for each job, working from copy card specs, changing plates and dies, matching inks, inspecting own work and performing routine machine maintenance such as lubricating and replacing minor parts. Must be available to work overtime when needed.
Qualified Candidates Must Possess:
1 to 3 yrs experience operating flexographic printing press performing complex jobs using a variety of paper stock, colors and registrations
Mechanical ability
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and over 50 lbs with equipment
Ability to read, speak and understand English
Must possess strong basic math skills and visual color comprehension
Wide Web experience a plus
Experience with w&h, pcmc, kidder, ci, comexi, f&k, or utecho experience is a plus.
